VMF Application

The Veterans Mobility Fund (VMF) is managed by Help for Heroes (charity number 1120920 / SCO44984) alongside BLESMA (charity number 1084189).

It endeavours to meet the wellbeing needs of veterans discharged with Service-attributable serious physical injury through the funding of mobility aids which are not typically available through statutory sources. The VMF can fund items such as the following:

• Specialist Wheelchairs
• Orthoses (e.g. Offloading Braces)
• Other specialist mobility equipment

To be Eligible for funding we need to ascertain whether your physical injury was acquired during Service and if you are in receipt of a War Pension (WP) or have received an award under the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme (AFCS).
