Veterans' Mobility Fund (VMF) Application

The Veterans' Mobility Fund (VMF) is managed by Help for Heroes (charity number 1120920 / SCO44984), in partnership with BLESMA (charity number 1084189).

It aims to support the wellbeing of veterans discharged with service-attributable serious physical injuries by funding mobility aids that are not typically available through sources like the NHS. The VMF can provide funding for items such as:

• Specialist wheelchairs
• Orthotics (e.g. offloading braces)
• Other specialist mobility equipment

To be eligible for funding, we need to confirm that your physical injury was acquired during service and that you are in receipt of a War Pension (WP) or have received an award under the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme (AFCS).
